Toby was found as a stray
Toby appears to be a sweet little guy with a nice temperament. He needs a nice new family to keep him that way.
Toby appears to be pretty well-behaved for a pup, and seems to do well with children. However, when puppies his size play – it can get a little “rough”, and small children could accidentally get knocked-down.
Potential adopters need to know that Toby still has about one more year of puppy growth to go. Puppies are cute and playful, but they do require lots of attention and care, and consistent training, so that they do not learn bad habits. We would recommend that his new owners should enroll in a puppy-obedience training program (particularly, if this is their or their children’s first dog). Obedience training is more for the owner than the dog – you will learn how to help in making your puppy the “best that he can be”.
When adopting a puppy, be realistic, and expect a few “growing pains” that go with them – stuff will probably get chewed-up and occasional accidents are bound to happen. But, if you have the time and patience; with consistent training and plenty of proper chew-toys, Toby will mature into a well-behaved companion.
