Hello, my name is Velvet and I have something very important to tell you.
I AM the Queen.
Yes, I know there are others who have claimed to be the queen, but they're wrong. First of all, my name Velvet is for my velvety gray fur. What could be more royal than that? Any my beautiful green eyes that sparkle like emeralds. Anyone who says otherwise, well, royal protocol requires one to ignore that sort of thing, doesn't it? And if you'd like more proof, ask Wayne, one of my feline subjects here. He adores me from afar, he would lay down his life for me as any loyal subject would. I would consider knighting him, but his adoration bores me.
As much as I enjoy being the Queen, I'm ready to give up all the responsibility that comes with the job for the chance at ruling in a smaller queen-dom where I could rule just a few hearts. What sort of place would be best for me? I get along fine with all of my subjects here, both feline and human, and I would rule fairly and completely as long as everyone remembers who's in charge.
Come in and ask for me. I have full reign of the place, and just remember that if anyone says I'm not the queen --- they're lying.
