Despite the Fall weather, this Daisy is totally in bloom. She's playful, active and simply loves her tennis balls, chew toys and maybe even a squeaky toy or two.
We're not sure of Daisy's age, but we do know that she likes to snuggle up and have her belly rubbed and her ears scratched whenever the opportunity arises. Though shy at first (evidence of her past abuse), she takes to adults (and comfy couches) pretty quickly. On the other hand, Daisy's a little afraid of kids, so an adult-only home will be best for her. Her relationship to cats is, as yet, an unknown, but we think they’ll probably fall into the same category as kids.
In her obedience training, Daisy went from cowering in the corner during the first class, to running around to greet everyone in the last class, not to mention her quick study of sit, stay, down and come commands. She still could use some leash training, however, (squirrels and bunnies are oh-so-hard to resist) as well as a good, long walk every day, the occasional treat and love galore. She'll make a great all-around dog and lifelong companion. Which only goes to show that it only takes one Daisy to have a beautiful yard.
Daisy's adoption fee is $310 (cash or check only) and includes spay/neuter, heartworm check, current vaccinations, and microchip and registration.
